Watchdog unblocks DeviantArt as banned content deleted

MOSCOW, Aug 11 (PRIME) -- The Russian communications service has unblocked online art gallery and community DeviantArt after the resource’s administration deleted the banned content, the watchdog said on Wednesday in a statement.

The authority said it earlier sent to the website’s administration “a request to erase the materials demonstrating ways and calling to suicide, images with child pornography, Nazi symbols, advertisements about sale of drugs, which were placed on the site.”

The resource failed to delete the content duly and was blocked by the watchdog on August 3. DeviantArt’s administration then said it was ready to improve.
